Scape Skydeck: A Fine Dining Restaurant with a Terrific View

The Scape Skydeck offers an excellent al fresco dining experience with one of the best views of the Mactan Channel.

Looking for a hefty meal before your flight back home? The airport has its fair share of fast food chains and cafes, but what if you want something fancier?

If you want a fine dining restaurant with great accessibility to the airport, there is a highly reviewed one atop a nearby condominium.

Scape Skydeck pairs their scrumptious dishes with an incredible view of the entire Mactan Channel. It is situated on the roof deck of the Azon Residences Cebu, located along the main highway in Lapu-Lapu City, right as you pass the second Cebu Mactan bridge.

AN AL FRESCO FINE DINING EXPERIENCE

The restaurant’s ambiance promotes a relaxing rooftop dining experience that is worth every visit.

The condominium welcomes many tourists to their rooftop restaurant, but it is also a perfect place for locals and food enthusiasts to try out. This is one venue that you will surely look forward to visiting.

Scape Skydeck gained a reputation for being one of the best restaurants in Mactan, even getting listed among the best on the island by Trip Advisor, which includes dining establishments from the biggest hotels in the Historic Resort City.

Their mantra “Food as Good as the View” is evident, since there are two important factors that make every visit at Scape a worthwhile dining experience: the food and the ambiance.

Situated on the roof deck of Azon Residences Cebu, you get an overlooking view of the Mactan Channel, including the iconic Marcelo Fernan bridge.

Their menu consists of internationally inspired meals that you can find in many fusion restaurants. This gives a varied assortment of appetizers, full course meals, and a handful of desserts from different cultures around the world.

In 2021, they added more Asian dishes since there were more Filipinos coming to the restaurant, as traveling to and from Cebu slowed down due to the pandemic.

Scape Skydeck’s chef and crew

The food served at this fine dining restaurant is inspired by many international flavors, including Italian and American.

This fine dining restaurant is extremely busy at dinnertime, especially during Happy Hour. They have a selection of alcoholic drinks you can choose from to add to your Cebu nightlife experience.

Another notable aspect of the restaurant is its location. Situated at Azon’s roof deck, it is one of only a few establishments that offer rooftop dining.

The restaurant and the view definitely add to the Cebu nightlife experience.

You have a 360° view of Lapu-Lapu City in the restaurant’s al fresco dining area. You will definitely feel the cool breeze and witness the lights and sounds of the main highway of Lapu-Lapu City. At night, some areas are said to be strategically dimmed so as not to ruin the view.

As of November 2021, they are only open from 4 PM to 10 PM every day.

HOW TO GET THERE

Azon Residences is located along the main highway of Lapu-Lapu City, which you will find as soon as you turn from the Marcelo Fernan bridge.

If you want to commute, you can take a bus going to Mactan Newtown at the Cebu IT Park. This will pass directly in front of the condo.

The combination of a magnificent view and scrumptious food makes for one of the best culinary experiences in Lapu-Lapu City. Among the many culinary experiences to try out on the island of Mactan, the Scape Skydeck is a fine choice in terms of class and style. It’s a well loved and reviewed hangout spot, ideal for romantic dinner dates, drinking sessions with friends, or if you just want to relax and eat great food.
