Elegant Al Fresco Dining: The New Parola Seaview Restaurant

Looking for a fresh take on Filipino cuisine? Head over to Cordova and try out this new, cozy outdoor restaurant!

The municipality of Cordova is a smorgasbord for good food. Renowned restaurants, small-scale food parks, and exotic eateries cater to dozens of travelers looking to try out various culinary offerings.

A new al fresco dining establishment has emerged near the town’s shipping port.

You can call the Parola Seaview Restaurant a feast for the senses, with its warm, cozy environment, eye-popping visual flair, and list of scrumptious Filipino delicacies.

Conceptualized by the Creative Cuisine Group – which also conceptualized some of the most popular restaurants in Cebu like Big Mao, Big Daddy, and Chika-an sa Cebu – they claim to have a stunning view from sunrise to sunset and serve affordable yet flavorful dishes.

The warm and vibrant aesthetics are perfect for al fresco dining.

AL FRESCO DINING BY THE SEA

Located near the town’s RORO (Roll-on, Roll-off) Port, locals and residents from Cebu City can look forward to a new outdoor dining avenue by the sea.

It may be relatively smaller compared to other fine dining restaurants, with only one area to eat in, but it can accommodate large groups of people, ideal for barkadas and families.

The restaurant ceiling is supported by concrete pillars, allowing the cool breeze to pass through and give customers an opportunity to relax and unwind.

You can spend a pleasant evening on comfortable wooden chairs or slump over their couches for a more casual vibe. The couches are long enough to fit several customers, creating the perfect atmosphere for social engagements with your barkadas.

A boardwalk facing the ocean is situated beside the restaurant for customers who want to take photos of the vast, open sea and the stunning view of the sunset. You can also get on the boardwalk and watch the sunset with friends and loved ones.

Not many seaside restaurants in Cebu give you a fantastic sunset view.

A FEAST OF FILIPINO CUISINE

Parola’s menu – which is already on display at the entrance – consists of Filipino cuisine favorites, with a selection of pork, chicken, or seafood, and some mouth-watering native snacks and desserts.

You can order an a la carte meal for yourself or from a list of platters for sharing.

These consist of either a Bilao – dishes served in a woven basket good for 2 to 3 people – or their Parola Sets – a whole banquet good for 3 to 4 people. You can add 85 to get a 1.5 liter bottle of Coca-Cola.

Parola’s menu is filled with Filipino cuisine favorites.

Though Parola opens at lunchtime, most customers prefer to experience this al fresco dining experience to come at night to see the restaurant light up underneath the moonlit sky.

Cebuanos love restaurants with open air dining to make evenings more enjoyable.

Since Parola is located in Cordova, residents from mainland Cebu will have to pass through Mactan Island via either of the two Mactan-Mandaue bridges.

It’s worth noting that the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway, or CCLEX, which directly connects Cebu to the municipality of Cordova, is soon to open in 2022, potentially making it much easier for people to get across to Cordova, and vice versa.

Parola’s contemporary aesthetics, relaxing vibes, and outstanding food offerings prove why a meal by the sea is something everyone should experience.

Whether you want to unwind or enjoy the picturesque scenery, you won’t regret driving down to this al fresco dining restaurant in Cordova to try out this new culinary attraction.
