Cebu White Sands Resort: Mactan’s Top Relaxing Vacation Spot

Enjoy a relaxing staycation or a fun getaway here at Cebu White Sands Resort!

Cebu White Sands Resort is one of the coziest resorts in Lapu-Lapu City. Its blend of contemporary architecture and state-of-the-art amenities creates the perfect summer staycation atmosphere.

The resort is situated within a two-hectare property, housing 86 guest rooms, a massive swimming pool, two restaurants, a high-rise building, and multiple small cottages.

Contemporary architecture and high-end amenities make for a wonderful experience at this private beach resort in Cebu.

There’s nothing better than taking in the cool breeze, feeling the calm sea, and pumping your adrenaline with several recreational activities. You can do all this at the vast beach of the Cebu White Sands Resort.

The open sea is perfect for water sports like parasailing and jet skiing, while the spacious shoreline can be used to host social gatherings like wedding receptions and parties.

The beach is the perfect venue for swimming, aqua sports, and island hopping.

To make the most of your stay, sign up for the resort’s island hopping tour. Guests are brought to nearby islands on a bangka (a motorized outrigger boat) so they can experience its tropical ambiance. You can also visit the marine sanctuary of Hilotongan or the bird sanctuaries of Olango.

Lunch will be served at the Islas Tres Rosas, the resort’s own three-cluster islet that is 30 minutes away from the shore. The main islet is also a great venue for more intimate engagements.

You can also take a dip in their massive main pool. Located at the center of the resort, it is accessible to every guest. They also offer several tanning beds for those who want to sit back and relax.

Cebu White Sands is one of the few resorts in Lapu-Lapu City that has animal exhibits.

Humans aren’t the only ones enjoying the resort’s ambiance, though. They also have several cages of birds and ponds of Koi, a popular Japanese fish. Cebu White Sands Resort claims to be the only one in Cebu with multiple koi ponds within the area.

The rooms within the resort are situated within three areas, namely the Heritage Wing, Courtyard Wing, and Mabuhay Wing.

The Heritage Wing has cozy rustic designs that are reminiscent of Filipino ancestral homes. These are situated near the main pool, and they all have private balconies.

The Courtyard Wing rooms are minimalistic – inspired by Asian culture through its use of Philippine furniture. It is also closest to the Courtyard Pool, which is exclusively for adults.

Finally, the Mabuhay Wing is where the only high-rise building is located, right in front of the main swimming pool. This overlooks the entire beach resort and has some of the resort’s most high-end amenities.

Here are all the rooms available at the different wings at Cebu White Sands:

The resort was intended to be part of a residential subdivision across the street. It soon operated independently and grew to become one of the top tourist attractions in Mactan for almost 30 years.

Agoda awarded it as a top choice among users in 2020, giving it a “Very Good” rating of 7.9.

Summer is the perfect time to book a stay at a white sand beach resort. No other place in Cebu gives you more options than those located in the busy bayside areas of Mactan.

Cebu White Sands Resort continues to uphold Lapu-Lapu City’s reputation of having some of the most well-maintained and serviceable resorts in Cebu. Whatever it is you prefer to do on your staycation, whether it is relaxing on the soothing beach or unwinding with the use of the resort’s high-end amenities, Cebu White Sands has definitely got you covered.
