Ever wondered what it’s like to experience winter?

Most Filipinos wouldn’t know what it’s like since the Philippines is a tropical country where snow is non-existent.

However, an amusement park in Minglanilla might give you a close enough experience. This recreational venue welcomes you to a freezing atmosphere as part of its winter wonderland theme.

Visit this winter wonderland-inspired theme park located inside Anjo World.

Snow World Cebu is the first winter theme park in the Visayas and Mindanao region, housing a 20,000 square-meter environment of ice and snow, with backdrops and decorations that will definitely make you feel like you’re in a different country.

Located inside Anjo World Theme Park in Minglanilla, Snow World is a popular hotspot among the locals. Groups of families and friends frequently visit the place just so they can experience the ice and snow in a fun-filled theme park.

This, along with the exciting rides and attractions, makes for a great stopover for those looking to have a fun adventure in Cebu.

If you buy a ticket for the rides at Anjo World, you can pay an extra Php 200 for access to Snow World. If you’re only interested in the winter theme park, it will cost Php 350.

WHAT TO SEE AT SNOW WORLD CEBU

Once you set foot inside Snow World Cebu, you’ll immediately feel the chilly atmosphere. Your lips may dry up, and your hands might even feel numb because of the cold.

As such, visitors are provided with puffer jackets before entering to keep warm while exploring the snow-covered surroundings. You can also buy a pair of gloves and earmuffs for Php 150.

Management prohibits the use of cameras inside Snow World Cebu, as the cold atmosphere may cause some serious damage to your device. Fortunately, there are official photographers inside that can take photos for you.

You can purchase hard and soft copies of these photos at the souvenir shop for Php 200 each.

It is recommended that you wear closed shoes to protect your feet while walking around the snowy area.

On the first part of the tour around Snow World, you’ll find a simple winter setup with ice sculptures and all kinds of Christmas-themed decorations.

Right next to this winter display is an enormous ice slide. It’s divided into three sections, with a large bed of shaved ice below serving as your landing area. Guests are required to wear orange helmets before hopping on the slides.

Snow World employees are available to assist you, especially if you want to slide down more smoothly. For that they will pour water on the slide.

You can also go on the slide as many times as you like.

Below the slide is another winter wonderland setup where you can pose for photos or enjoy the surroundings. This area is where most people would get their photos taken due to the many impressive backdrops.

These include snow-covered pine trees, a snowman, and a Robert Indiana-inspired “LOVE” sculpture. You can also chill out at their small coffee shop which offers some warm drinks.

It may never snow in the Philippines, but Snow World Cebu offers an immersive experience that will make you fall in love with the famous winter magic.

A winter wonderland may not be as far off as we thought, thanks to the impressive setup at Snow World.

This is definitely a place you should look forward to visiting if you want to experience something new and adventurous.
