Sing your heart out in any of these karaoke bars in Cebu!

It is undeniable that Filipinos love to sing. Our fondness of the craft has been recorded in history. Through singing we can express our emotions; we can say we sing our hearts out. And what better way to do so than singing in karaoke bars?

Ever since the introduction of karaoke machines in the country, karaoke bars have been some of the go-to places to hang out. When thinking about weekend plans, it usually involves karaoke singing. In Cebu, these establishments are open even on weekday mornings, but more people gather beginning on Friday nights. Here are the top karaoke bars in Cebu you should check out:

Hi-Fi Family KTV

Customer service is crucial. This is what people will remember the most in an establishment. Hi-Fi Family KTV is one of the karaoke bars in Cebu that is famous for having an accommodating staff. That is why, despite the rates being more expensive than other KTV places, people still go back to Hi-Fi.

The interior design of the establishment is inspired by the family KTVs in China. You may not have an idea on what it looks like, but a simple explanation would be this: it is sophisticated. The well-thought-out decoration is noticeable the moment you enter the premises.

With rates starting US$8, the rooms are exceptionally spacious. The small room, for example, that is said to fit 12 people can accommodate more with enough space to dance as the music carries you away.

Forget about waiting for your turn to pick a song from that old book. Hi-Fi boasts of its high-tech equipment, which includes the library of songs that can be accessed through a touch-screen monitor.

If you just want to chill, you can hang out in the bar, where you can choose local and international beverages. Every night, there will be a live performance by a featured artist, and you can brag your dance skills through Kinect installed in the lobby.

The food is outstanding. You can choose from Filipino dishes (such as the bestselling lechon kawali) to international favorites (like pasta, buffalo wings, beef salpicao, and pizza). The varied options are not limited to full meals. You can also try Cebuano street food, like ginabot or kwek-kwek, if you are just looking for finger foods.

With a promise to deliver high-end karaoke experience, Hi-Fi Family KTV is truly perfect for gatherings and a memorable experience.

K1 Family KTV

The Crossroads is one of the places where great fancy restaurants in Cebu are located. But not everything is pricey in The Crossroads. K1 Family KTV, affordable modern KTVs in Cebu, can be found there.

The karaoke bar has big rooms that, compared to other KTV houses, have cheaper rates. Prices start at US$3 and are consumable on drinks and food. You can also request to have a Wii and Kinect consoles installed in the room for more fun.

K1 Family KTV is also home to one of the best pizzas in Cebu. The Alcatraz, a thin-crust pizza with pepperoni toppings, is a house specialty because it is made with K1’s original sauce. Desserts and coffee are also on the menu.

Gatherings for special occasions are welcome in K1. With packages that start from US$30, the karaoke bar offers a hassle-free party.

Music One Family KTV and DVD

IT Park, Cebu, is one of the places in Cebu that almost never sleeps. It is because of the shift schedule of the numerous BPO companies in the area.

One of the recreational places that is open 24/7 in IT Park is Music One Family KTV. Aside from its elegant decoration, with chandeliers that can be seen from outside the building, this karaoke bar in Cebu can hardly be missed because of its location at The Walk.

Music One does not only offer KTV. As the name suggests, it also offers DVD viewing at US$5.86 per movie. So if you want to find a place where you could watch a movie in private, you know where to go.

Song Hits Family KTV

The most convenient and one of the most affordable karaoke bars in Cebu is Song Hits. Its branches are located where Cebu nightlife is most alive, such as Mango Avenue, Cebu.

Its first branch opened in 2009 with the aim to provide a high-quality karaoke experience without paying much. It is among the first KTV houses that has a computerized system for choosing songs.

The smallest, Silver Room, can accommodate up to 6 people while the largest, Diamond Room, can fit up to 32 people. The famous KTV is proudly Cebu-based.

Wat Ever Family KTV

In Visayas and Mindanao, there are several branches of Wat Ever Family KTV. This is the most ubiquitous karaoke bar and the most affordable too.

The comfortable rooms have an hourly rate that start at US$1.73. The food is budget-friendly too and won’t disappoint. Alcoholic drinks are also sold in the bar. You will get full service by pushing the button inside the room that will alert the staff.

Because of these, the KTV house is usually packed even on weekdays. Although you do not have to wait for too long since there are a lot of rooms in every branch.

MO2 Restobar

This vast entertainment complex is divided into different entertainment areas, namely a sports bar, a concert area, a ballroom, and karaoke rooms.

Although the concert area is where most people are, because one of the fun things to do in Cebu is to dance, their karaoke rooms do not run short of attention. The rates start at US$23, consumable on food and drinks and room usage for 3 hours. There is also a karaoke room equipped with a billiard table at a consumable rate of US$59.04.

The menu has extensive food choices. Burgers, pizza, pasta, chicken, beef, pork—you name it, MO2 Restobar has it.

There are a lot of places to go to experience Cebu nightlife. Karaoke bars are one of them. If it’s late-night meal and entertainment that you want, find a karaoke bar near you.
