Find the Dark Side of the Moon at TOPS Busay, Cebu City

No, not the astronomical side of the moon that’s constantly away from Earth, but a mountain restobar at TOPS Busay!

Welcome to Darkside of the Moon, a unique restobar nestled at TOPS Busay. It promises a sophisticated nightlife experience paired with breathtaking mountain views.

Here, you can enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks, and even take a cool dip in their infinity pool. But more than anything, it’s the perfect spot to create unforgettable memories, whether you’re with loved ones or simply enjoying some well-deserved solo time.

Even though it just recently opened its doors (alongside the newly renovated TOPS Lookout soft opening), the Darkside has already become a go-to spot for couples and friends looking for a romantic or fun outing.

It’s also quickly becoming a favorite dining destination for families.

With its cool mountain breeze and soothing ambiance, the Darkside truly deserves a top spot on your list of mountain restobars.

It’s not just the atmosphere that’s winning people over; their dining options offer a unique blend of Pinoy comfort food and Mexican cuisine.

MENU

Darkside is a Filipino-Mexican fusion restaurant and bar. If you’re craving Mexican dishes with that unmistakable touch of Pinoy flavor, then you’ve found your culinary haven.

Most of their food choices consist of tacos and rice meals, all infused with popular Filipino flavors in a truly unique way.

Burritos

They offer six distinct burrito fusion recipes, each bursting with flavors that taste like home.

You’ll love their pork kare-kare, pork humba, and Betsy’s chicken options. If your palate prefers a protein source with a milder flavor, try their fish and tofu sisig burrito. They also serve beef burritos for those who prefer a more conventional taste.

For a peculiar burrito recipe, their Turon Burrito Dessert is a must-try! Imagine a crispy burrito wrap stuffed with caramelized banana—it’s essentially an upsized version of the traditional Pinoy turon.

Tacos

When you think of Mexican food, tacos are probably the first thing that comes to mind. As you may have guessed, Darkside gives those a Pinoy twist too!

Beyond the conventional beef and fish tacos, they also serve pork humba and the classic Betsy’s chicken flavors.

Do you have incredibly adventurous taste buds? Then you might want to try their Tofu Sisig Taco. The taste is fantastic, and the texture will surprise your palate—in a good way!

Rice Meals

Of course, rice meals are a must-have on the menu. Every restaurant here in the Philippines knows that rice is the holy grail of every Pinoy meal.

As such, rice meals are served at Darkside. While the choices may have a touch of Mexican flavors, they never fail to deliver that comforting taste of Pinoy home cooking.

Options include kare-kare bites, pork humba, crispy beef, chicken, tofu, and beef picadillo.

Party Some S’mores

Darkside has a bonfire pit perfect for making your own s’mores. But to make the experience even more special, be sure to try it with your SO or a group of friends!

Happy Hour

Darkside serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including wines, sodas, fruit shakes, cocktails, and beers.

Happy Hour drinks are available Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Options include Chardonnay White Wine, banana shake, beer, and a selection of signature and classic cocktails. For birthday celebrants, be sure to sip on their Mountain Dew Margarita—it’s Darkside’s treat!

OPEN HOURS

Darkside welcomes you daily from 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM.

When the night is over and you’re looking for a place to stay, you can book a room just above the restobar.

Yes, lodging is available! But where exactly?

For non-lodgers (waiting travelers) who just want to experience the hostel’s amenities, you can access their lounge, showers, and restobar. You can also borrow a towel. Each person will have to pay Php 400.

Take note that schedules and fees may be subject to change at any time.
