The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is coming back to Cebu this 2023!

The three-week event will run from September 15th to October 1st, from 10 AM to 10 PM at the Lower Ground Level of the Cube Wing at SM Seaside Cebu.

Admission to the event is FREE!

WHAT TO EXPECT AT BIG BAD WOLF

The event is considered the world’s biggest book sale, running in several countries for over a decade. It encourages reading by offering discounts on children’s books, fiction novels, and many more.

It also encourages English literacy by offering mostly English-language books from a variety of categories and genres.

This year, the event will offer up to 95% discounts on over a million books from well-known titles to new releases worldwide.

Books are laid out in piles that customers can scour and dig through to buy in bulk. Sections are divided into genres to help you find what you’re looking for.

You will definitely find some timeless favorites and discover hidden gems to add to your reading list at this fun recreational event in Cebu.

Customers can check out the available books from the event on their website and social media pages.

THIRD ITERATION IN CEBU

This year’s event is the third iteration of the book sale in Cebu, with Big Bad Wolf previously coming to the city in 2018 and 2019.

Both events ran for 24 hours daily for 10 days and were previously held at the IC3 Convention Center along Cardinal Rosales Avenue near Cebu Business Park.

The first iteration offered 60% to 80% discounts, while the 2019 event offered 50% to 90%.

Big Bad Wolf also conducted its Red Readership Program at previous events by donating 500 books to Gawad Kalinga, a non-profit organization aiming to end poverty by helping the poor be more self-sufficient.

The donated books became a supply for many Gawad Kalinga community libraries and schools.

2023 will be Big Bad Wolf’s 14th year, and will be the first time the event has come to the Philippines since the COVID-19 pandemic. Aside from Cebu, the event has also previously been held in Manila, Davao, and Pampanga.

So mark your calendars and get ready to browse numerous titles at this exciting book sale!

See you there!
