What’s your favorite Cebu nightlife activity?
Romantic dinner dates? Memorable drinking sessions?
No matter what it may be, the fun never stops when the sun goes down in the Queen City of the South.
Food plays an integral part in the island’s nightlife culture, as night owls fervidly visit the top restaurants, bars, and clubs, looking for the perfect nighttime potluck.
You might find such a potluck in a newly opened resto-bar in Lapu-Lapu City, aiming to be one of Mactan’s finest culinary establishments where you can spend your special evening gatherings.
Encanto Restaurant and Bar, a Korean-owned establishment nestled within the busy neighborhood of Maribago, opened to the public in December last year, banking on its unique dining experience.
There’s no need to go bar-hopping around Lapu-Lapu City, as this new hangout spot serves both scrumptious meals and a selection of the world’s most famous alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to encapsulate a night of fun and relaxation.
AN ENCHANTED NIGHTLIFE IN LAPU-LAPU CITY
Encanto is located near the neighborhood’s mesmerizing beachfront, so you can enjoy the open-air breeze and smell of the ocean while having dinner with friends or loved ones.
If you want, bring an extra pair of clothing and swimwear so you can use their swimming pool.
You’ll notice it as soon as you enter the premises, since it’s quite large and spacious for you to swim around while waiting for your food. Take note that the pool is only open until 11:00 PM.
Customers can relax on the sofas and chairs on the platform by the pool. You can also sit by the restaurant’s stage and enjoy energetic performances from the live bands.
The live acts start performing at 7 in the evening, jamming to nostalgic oldies and the freshest new hits. You can even join in on the fun by requesting a song for them to perform.
DELICIOUS ASIAN CUISINE
Encanto’s menu consists of Asian cuisine like Filipino favorites and the best Korean dishes that Pinoys love. A lot of their meals are good for sharing, so it’s best to have family or friends tag along so you can enjoy the restaurant’s delicious offerings.
Filipinos are big on rice, so Encanto offers flavorful rice platters. Their Seafood Rice Platter has an irresistible flavor, thanks to its carefully picked-out ingredients.
To satisfy your Filipino palette, indulge in their Bacolod-style barbecue chicken (either served whole or divided in different cuts), which is paired with rice and some atchara (pickled papaya).
You can also try out their Pancit Guisado that comes with a zesty flavor added by the Filipino calamansi. Another noodle dish you can try is the Spaghetti Bolognese, which is served with crispy garlic bread.
Foreign tourists, especially Korean nationals, will definitely enjoy the restaurant’s selection of Korean dishes. The Kimchi Jjigae or the classic Korean snack Tteokbokki are a must-try.
Their most expensive food offerings are the Shabu-Shabu and Tepanyaki Course. The Shabu-Shabu is good for two people, while their Tepanyaki Course serves a total of five courses.
Make sure to add Encanto to your must-visit Cebu bars and nightlife venues list. Their selection of cocktails, beer, and tequila is the perfect night-ender to keep you relaxed and stress-free.
The management announced that a hotel will also be constructed within the area. Around 60 rooms will be available for occupation, and construction is expected to finish around September.
Today, you can enjoy Encanto’s wide array of Asian dishes to spice up your evenings at the famous Historic Resort City, and there’s more than just food that awaits you at this brand new resto-bar.
You can sing your heart out to your favorite tunes or spend your night swimming at their enchanting pool. This new Lapu-Lapu City establishment is set to give a resort-like fine dining experience that you don’t want to miss.
