Hadsan Beach Park: Your New Go-to Public Beach in Mactan!

The Hadsan public beach lets guests experience Mactan’s waters for a low price.

You may have heard of the Hadsan Cove Resort in Agus, Lapu-Lapu City. The famous public beach is a reliable day-use resort in Mactan, with tranquil accommodations for overnight stays.

However, it is now known as the Hadsan Beach Park or The Beach Park – Hadsan.

Most Cebuanos remember the clean white sand, mesmerizing waters, and affordable entrance fees. The vast, spacious beachfront has made it a go-to venue for group celebrations, where guests can wander around, unwind, and relax.

In 2022, the beach resort got a brand new look, courtesy of its new management.

Your friends and family can enjoy a lot of fun activities in this beach resort in Mactan.

The beach is now under the management of Mactan Newtown Beach, where they plan to add services, activities, and amenities to make it more than just a place to unwind away from the busy city life.

SPEND A QUICK GETAWAY ON THIS PUBLIC BEACH

Lapu-Lapu City continues to be a popular summer destination because of its accessibility and dozens of high-end accommodations. Popular resorts include Cebu White Sands and Tambuli Seaside Resort

Hadsan offers fun activities for its guests including water sports like jet skiing and banana boating. For a fun but less adrenaline-pumping activity, you can sit back, lie down, or walk around the small platform floating by the water.

You can book a cottage or cabana to keep your belongings and dishes for lunch or breakfast. It may be best to cook some food at home and bring it to the resort, especially since there is no corkage fee.

Additionally, Hadsan offers packages for groups, like their Ber-Month Package. This promo includes entrance passes, a tent with two tables and ten chairs, a case of beer, and a platter of your choosing for less than 4,000 Php.

This public beach has a shop where you can buy food and drinks.

Speaking of food, you can also chill out and drink some beverages from Te Fi Tea, Hadsan’s own milk tea shop. You can also purchase different snacks and drinks at their convenience store.

The resort also has a swimming pool if you prefer more intimate gatherings. The beach pool is one of the best places to hold social events, company outings, and team-building activities.

STAYING OVERNIGHT

If a day is not enough for you, you can book a room for an overnight stay.

The public beach opens at around 7 AM, so expect most day-use guests to arrive by this time. The beach closes at 7 in the evening, and lifeguards also go off duty by that time.

The beach allows guests to bring their own karaoke machines while they stay at the public beach. Additionally, the resort occasionally holds social events like raves and beach parties.

Most beachside rooms are available for occupancy, but they will soon open a poolside hostel to accommodate more customers and give more options for rooms to stay in.

You and your friends and family can spend a quick getaway at Hadsan Beach Park for less than 200 Php per person. The public beach also offers a 30% discount for guests going on a weekday.

Money should not hinder you from having a wonderful summer vacation, and fortunately, Hadsan’s public beach lets you dive into the crystal clear waters of Mactan for a much lower price.

With Mactan Newtown Beach taking over the resort and their plans for it in the future, we can definitely look forward to more than just a simple getaway. Additional culinary options and accommodation may elevate the services in this affordable beach park.

Hadsan shows that Mactan isn’t just a place for high-end resorts or world-class hotels, as the simple Filipino can enjoy the sun, sand, and sea just the same. So bring your family and friends to enjoy this newly renovated public beach at an extremely affordable price!
