You can do more than just shopping at Ayala Malls Central Bloc!

Many people go to IT Park for different reasons. For work, a food trip, a caffeine fix, to work out, to watch a movie, and so on.

But did you know that you can do all that and more at Ayala Malls Central Bloc?

It is the second Ayala mall in Cebu, which opened in 2019, 20 years after the first one. Its name is based on its location, which is at the dead center of Cebu IT Park.

It has common mall amenities like a supermarket, a spacious food court, several retail outlets, and their very own state-of-the-art Ayala Central Bloc Cinema. However, this Ayala mall stands out as a go-to venue for several fun things to do in Cebu.

The mall houses several facilities like a gym, a few obstacle courses, parks, and venues for all kinds of recreational activities. These are also ideal if you want to relax and unwind after a long and busy day.

That being said, here are some exciting activities you can take part in at the mall.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AT AYALA MALLS CENTRAL BLOC

  • Pat’s Putts

There are only a few places where you can play golf in Cebu. Aside from being a bit expensive, the activity itself can be rather intense.

For something less strenuous, why not take a swing at Pat’s Putts? You can find this on the top floor of Ayala Malls Central Bloc.

The establishment is the first to have an indoor golf course in the country, and their branch at Central Bloc is their third. It has a total of 27 golf cups, with a glow-in-the-dark design and a bunch of challenging obstacles.

At Php 500 per person, this can be a great venue and activity for date night or as a hangout spot with family and friends.

  • Neutral Grounds

Are you into board games and trading cards? Neutral Grounds might just be for you!

This specialty store is the go-to spot for Cebu’s hobbyist community.

Here, customers can play rounds of tabletop games like Warhammer 40,000 and Dungeons & Dragons, or even card battling games like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering.

They also offer accessories and items to get started or for you to further enjoy your hobbies.

With tables free for any customer to use, you can gather up some friends or meet some new ones through a shared love of fun games.

  • Anytime Fitness

This gym is mainly known for the convenience of being able to hit a workout session at literally any time of the day.

Like most of their branches in Cebu, you can lift weights, do yoga, run on the treadmill, and join a variety of group classes. They also have a good deal of gym equipment like barbells, squat racks, jump ropes, stair climbers, exercise cycles, rowing machines, and more.

They offer training and coaching services as well, such as a fitness assessment, specialized classes, and even personal training.

Another convenience is that since the gym is inside the mall, there are many restaurants for you to choose from for a much needed post-workout meal.

You can visit their website to learn more about their membership fee and inclusions.

  • I Sports Trampoline Park

On the third level of the mall is Cebu’s only trampoline park that will surely bring out your inner child.

While it’s technically intended for children, adults can benefit from it through the health advantages of working out on trampolines.

It relieves stress, making it the perfect day-ender. It can also lower your resting heart rate, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels. As a result, I Sports can be a fun workout spot for groups of friends.

The space has a dozen trampolines, some being more challenging because of their surroundings or inclines. The area also has ball pits, a mini wall-climbing course, and a slide.

  • Rink Star

Have you ever seen those movies where characters glide together on roller skates? You can experience the same thing at Rink Star on the fourth floor.

This is the first indoor roller rink in Cebu, letting customers experience roller-skating with beginner-friendly amenities, including complete safety gear and skate trainers.

It’s one of the more budget-friendly recreational activities at the mall, at only Php 149 per hour. It’s perfect for families as the calm nature of the activity can be great for bonding for parents and children.

  • Rock On Boulder Gym

Indoor rock climbing is one of the best workouts as you will be moving your entire body. This improves endurance, flexibility, and balance.

It’s also a very sociable activity that you and your friends can try out.

Rock On Boulder Gym is located on the second floor of the mall. It has four indoor rock climbing walls.

Whether you’re an experienced climber or you’re just getting into the sport, you can definitely learn a thing or two here.

Among the walls, the U is the most versatile, letting climbers improve their skills in whatever way they like.

The Cave offers a spelunking-like experience, and the Junior Wall is catered to beginners.

The Pump Zone is the most intense, primarily focusing on building endurance with strength-building equipment.
